Quebradillas nipped Fajardo at home court to even the series at 1-1. Cariduros were ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 23-17 charge of Piratas, which allowed them to win the game. They made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Cariduros were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Tu Holloway (182-89, college: Xavier) had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Alejandro Carmona (194-83) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. American forward Damion James (201-87, college: Texas) responded with 7 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import forward Reginald Buckner (206-91, college: Mississippi) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Five Piratas and four Cariduros players scored in double figures. Cariduros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
