Ascenso top team - Sayago (11-0) managed to deliver another win on Monday. This time they beat sixth ranked 25 de Agosto (6-5) in Montevideo 73-62. American center Paul Harrison (203-89, college: N.Greenville) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and guard Juan Garbarino (185-89) accounted for 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Guard Nicolas Alvarez (194-92) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and forward Rodrigo Cardozo (191-92) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for 25 de Agosto in the defeat. Sayago have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-0 record. Loser 25 de Agosto keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Sayago will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. 25 de Agosto's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Marne.
