Semi-Finals Game 4: Arecibo - Aguada 90-79

Date: July 19, 2017
Arecibo topped Aguada to even the series at 2-2. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-79. Capitanes made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Santeros helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 6 assists. The former international swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Mississippi) contributed with 26 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American-Dominican forward Emmanuel Andujar (198-93, college: Manhattan) replied with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and international Chris Gaston (201-89, college: Fordham) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Santeros. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
