The game with biggest result difference took place in Xian. Local Shaanxi W. (8-4) outscored 7th ranked Chongqing (6-6) 139-104. The game without a history. Shaanxi W. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by American guard Von Wafer (196-85, college: Florida St.) who scored that evening 43 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Charles Gaines (201-81, college: S.Mississippi) supported him with 31 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 25 points and 13 rebounds by Ukrainian center Vladyslav Koreniuk (210-94, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Chongqing. Xin Wang added 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shaanxi W. maintains second position with 8-4 record having just two points less than leader Henan, which they share with Anhui and Hunan. Chongqing at the other side dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. Shaanxi W.'s next round opponent will be Beijing (#12) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Chongqing will play against Hebei X. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
