Arecibo held off visiting Aguada to force the decisive seventh game in the series. It was a good game for the former international point guard Denis Clemente (183-86, college: Kansas St.) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 4 assists. The former international swingman David Huertas (195-87, college: Mississippi) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Capitanes players scored in double figures. American swingman Lamar Patterson (196-91, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Pensack Sports) replied with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists and international Chris Gaston (201-89, college: Fordham) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Santeros.
