Puerto Rico overcame Bahamas to finish the preliminary round undefeated. Jorge Torres produced 22 points and 15 rebounds in the victory. Puerto Rico eked out a 39:37 halftime lead. They went on a 24:16 run in the third quarter to clear off for good. Jeriel Zayas dropped 18 points for the winners. Dominick Bridgewater responded with game-high 31 points and 8 rebounds for Bahamas.
