Regular Season Round 20: Sunbury - Eltham W. 86-82

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Sunbury (16-4) beat at home 8th ranked Wildcats (9-11) 86-82 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Sunbury looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Karen Duever who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and Orla Reilly who added 25 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Guard Rebecca Cole (178-92) responded with 39 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals and guard Simone Ruedin (173, college: Fort Lewis) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Newly promoted Sunbury maintains first position in League with 16-4 record. Loser Wildcats keep the eighth place with 11 games lost.
