Very expected game when 10th ranked Venom (2-18) was defeated at home by first ranked Sunbury (16-4) 76-63 on Sunday. Sunbury forced 23 Venom turnovers. Venom was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Orla Reilly who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and Karen Duever who added 19 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Meg Dargan responded with 20 points and center Amanda Meinking (192-96) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Sunbury maintains first position in League with 16-4 record. Loser Venom dropped to the eleventh place with 18 games lost.
