Finals Game 1: Cimarrones - Fast Break 61-55

Cimarrones celebrated the first win in Liga DirecTV Finals. They held off Fast Break in best-of-three series opener. Fast Break trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 20-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 55-61 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan-Spanish guard Jhornan Zamora (196-89) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Venezuelan Jose Rodriguez (197-94) contributed with 13 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Cimarrones players scored in double figures. Naturalized Venezuelan power forward Luis Julio (201-80) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Dermaine Crockrell (185-89, college: Bemidji St.) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Fast Break. Fast Break's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
