Brazil and Puerto Rico were tied at 30 at the interval. Puerto Rico eked out a 2-point lead heading into the fourth frame. They sank 25 points in the final term to ice the win. Michelle Gonzalez had 16 points for the winners. Kelly Santos responded with 20 points and 9 boards for Brazil.
