El Salvador stepped onto the pedestal in Arecibo. They edged Costa Rica to clinch the Bronze medals. Kimberly Villalobos scored 26 points and grabbed 21 rebounds to lead the winners. El Salvador recorded a 28:22 halftime lead. They held Costa Rica to just 19 points in the second half and raced to the victory. Lindsey Castillo had 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Valeria Gonzalez responded with 12 points for Costa Rica.
