Canada knocked down Venezuela to finish in the third position in Group B. Xavier Rathan notched 22 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds to lead the North American side. Canada eked out a 29:27 halftime lead. Venezuela tied things up at 58 heading into the fourth period. But Canada unloaded 27 points in the final period to ice the win. Andrew Nicholson had 12 points in the victory. John Cox tossed in 22 points for Venezuela.
