USA qualified for the semifinal stage in FIBA AmeriCup as they claimed the third straight win. Jeff Van Gundy's team overcame Dominican Republic to stay undefeated. C.J. Williams produced 15 points to lead the winners. USA grabbed a 38:28 halftime lead. They held Dominican Republic to just 28 points in the second half and rallied to the victory. Jameel Warney and Darrun Hilliard had 13 points each in the win. Adris De Leon replied with 15 points for Dominican Republic.
