Quarter-Finals Round 3: Luoyang - Hunan 117-129

Hunan prevailed against Luoyang on the road to take 2-1 advantage. The game was mostly controlled by Hunan. Luoyang managed to win second period 37-35. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Terrell Stoglin (185-91, college: Maryland) who led his team to a victory scoring 45 points (!!!) and 8 assists. His fellow American import power forward Arinze Onuaku (206-87, college: Syracuse) helped adding 18 points, 23 rebounds and 6 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Five Hunan players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American point guard Russ Smith (183-91, college: Louisville) with a double-double by scoring 65 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and South Sudanese-Lebanese center Ater Majok (208-87, college: Connecticut) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 24 rebounds and 5 blocks.
