Leones upset Importadora on the road to force the decisive third game in the series. Importadora trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 26-20 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 63-68 at the end of the game. Venezuelan point guard Alexander Morillo (180-92) scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Rafael Luis chipped in 13 points during the contest. Leones' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Venezuelan forward Jhon Romero (199-85) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Tavares Sledge (203-92, college: USC Aiken, agency: Interperformances) scored 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
