Semi-Finals Game 1: Iccan - Leones 79-64

Iccan toppled Leones to take 1-0 lead in the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Iccan. Leones managed to win fourth quarter 26-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Leones' 30 and made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The former international center Carlos Carcelen (202-81) stepped up and scored 25 points for the winners and Venezuelan guard Jesus Centeno (190-85) chipped in 17 points. Four Iccan players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Corbin Jackson (203-92, college: Florida Tech) responded with 14 points and international guard William-Daniel Guayaquil (183-93) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
