USK Praha used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Brno 98-64 on Saturday night. USK Praha made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. USK Praha outrebounded Valosun Brno 31-15 including a 20-8 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for USK Praha especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Swedish center Amanda Bazoukou (196-93, college: Minnesota) stepped up and scored 27 points (made all of her nine free throws !!!) for the winners and Croatian center Marija Rezan (198-89) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four USK Praha players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international center Edita Sujanova (190-85) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and point guard Gabriela Andelova (173-96) scored 14 points. Valosun Brno's coach David Zdenek gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. USK Praha will face Karlovy Vary (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Valosun Brno will play against BLK Praha (#7) and hope to win that game.
