Regular Season Round 2: Hagen-Haspe - Grevenbroich 61-90

Not a big story in a game when Hagen-Haspe (1-2) was rolled over at home by Grevenbroich (3-0) 90-61 on Sunday. Grevenbroich made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Grevenbroich outrebounded Hagen-Haspe 51-39 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Gerrell Martin (190-93, college: LIU Brooklyn) had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American-British center Malcolm Delpeche (203-95, college: Bates) chipped in 21 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Worth to mention Delpeche played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. American point guard Jeremy Lewis (180-86, college: St.Thomas, TX) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Maximilian Fouhy (195-0) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Grevenbroich will face Dorsten (#12) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Hagen-Haspe will play against Salzkotten and hope to win that game.
