Finals Game 4: Anhui - Shaanxi W. 102-109

Shaanxi grabbed the third consecutive victory in NBL Finals. They overcame Anhui to take 3-1 lead in the championship series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 25-19. But Anhui won second period 33-31. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Shaanxi W. won last quarter 34-28. They made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Troy Gillenwater (205-88, college: N.Mexico St.) fired a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) for the winners. Forward Charles Gaines (201-81, college: S.Mississippi) chipped in a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. Five Shaanxi W. players scored in double figures. Chris Johnson (210-85, college: LSU) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Bernard James (208-85, college: Florida St.) added 23 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks respectively for lost side.
