Finals Game 3: Piratas - Iccan 77-104

Iccan celebrated the opening win in National League Finals. They stormed past Piratas in the opener. Iccan shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists. Venezuelan forward Juan Herrera (197-81) stepped up and scored 27 points and 5 assists for the winners and Venezuelan guard Jesus Centeno (190-85) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists. At the losing side American forward Willie Clayton (203-92, college: Georgia St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international center Carlos Delgado (202-90) scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Five Iccan and four Piratas players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
