The game in Bratislava supposed to be also worth to mention about. Good Angels (2-0) played at the court of Slovan (0-2). Good Angels smashed Slovan 90-45. Good Angels held Slovan to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 53.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Slovan 49-26 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Good Angels players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international center Anna Jurcenkova (195-85) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) to lead the effort and Lithuanian center Daugile Sarauskaite (196-96) supported her with 11 points and 16 rebounds. Four Good Angels players scored in double figures. Even 12 points and 5 rebounds by naturalized Polish center Bianka Vaigl (180-95) did not help to save the game for Slovan. Radoslava Ostadalova (182-99) added 9 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Good Angels will play against MBK Ruzomberok on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Slovan will play against Samorin (#4) to get more than just one victory in their record.
