Finals Game 5: Iccan - Piratas 75-80

Piratas recorded the second straight victory in National League Finals. They upset Iccan on the road to take 2-1 advantage. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 23-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Iccan outrebounded Piratas 29-14 including a 24-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Puerto Rican point guard Andres Torres (177-89, college: Hartford, agency: Paris Global Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points. Guard Carlos Malatay (180-90) helped adding 22 points. The best for the losing side was Colombian-Venezuelan swingman Cesar Silva (190-81) with 28 points and 9 rebounds and Venezuelan forward Juan Herrera (197-81) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Iccan players scored in double figures.
