Regular Season Round 3: GBA Sparta - Slavoj Litom. 61-69

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Slavoj BK Litomerice's (3-0) road victory over GBA Sparta (1-2) 69-61 on Friday. Slavoj BK Litomerice forced 23 GBA Sparta turnovers. The best player for the winners was international center Pavel Grunt (208-94) who scored 5 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Filip Kroutil (190-96) chipped in 15 points (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was Slovakian center Maros Zeliznak (208-99) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and guard Marek Welsch (180-99) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Slavoj BK Litomerice will face Nymburk B at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. GBA Sparta's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Praha Sokol Zizkov.
