Regular Season Round 2: Oettinger R. - Brose Bask. 64-92

There was no surprise when Oettinger Rockets Gotha (0-3) was crushed at home by Brose Baskets (2-1) 92-64 on Friday. Brose Baskets dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Oettinger Rockets Gotha's 16. Brose Baskets looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Oettinger Rockets Gotha's players. The best player for the winners was naturalized Croatian center Leon Radosevic (207-90, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Serbian Luka Mitrovic (204-93) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Brose Baskets' coach Andrea Trinchieri felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Daniel Schmidt (189-90) produced 20 points and Belgian-Nigerian guard Retin Obasohan (185-93, college: Alabama) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Brose Baskets will face Walter Tigers (#17) in Tuebingen in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Oettinger Rockets Gotha will play on the road against Giessen 46ers and hope to win that game.
