Regular Season Round 2: BK Olomoucko - BK Kolin 77-83

An interesting game was played in Prostejov where BK Kolin (#7) beat host BK Olomoucko (#8) 83-77 on Saturday evening. Strangely BK Olomoucko outrebounded BK Kolin 49-35 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Lee Skinner (198-92, college: Wofford) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Adam Ciz (192-91) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Serbian Filip Sepa (198-90) responded with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard J.C. Fuller (193-94, college: W.Illinois) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BK Olomoucko's coach Predrag Benacek tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. BK Kolin will meet BK Usti nad Labem (#5) on the road in the next round. BK Olomoucko will play against BK Decin (#6) and hope to win that game.
