Regular Season Round 2: USK Praha - BK Decin 82-74

The biggest surprise of round 2 in NBL took place in Praha where host USK Praha (2-0) beat BK Decin (1-1) 82-74 on Saturday evening. 29 personal fouls committed by BK Decin helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard QJ Peterson (183-94, college: VMI) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Jan Krivanek (203-94) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. The former international power forward Pavel Houska (203-84, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 13 points and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Tomas Pomikalek (200-89) added 10 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BK Decin's coach Pavel Budinsky rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. BK Decin will play next round against BK Olomoucko trying to make it back to the top of the standings. USK Praha will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
