Regular Season Round 3: Sokol Zizkov - Sokol Prazky 52-70

But Sokol Zizkov was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Praha 70-52 on Sunday night. Sokol Prazky outrebounded Sokol Zizkov 39-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was center Jiri Bruha (210-86) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. Center Jan Stepanek (190-83) chipped in 17 points. Four Sokol Prazky players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Vojtech Sindelar (191) who recorded 11 points and guard Jan Srna (189-94) added 10 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Prazky will face Vysocina (#7) in Jihlava in the next round. Sokol Zizkov's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Praha to the arena GBA Sparta.
