Leader Al-Manama blasted bottom-ranked Hidd (0-4) in Hidd 110-52 keeping the perfect record after 5 rounds. Hidd is still unable to win any game. Al-Manama dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Hidd's 34. Al-Manama forced 34 Hidd turnovers and outrebounded them 61-38 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Hidd's players. International forward Hassan Nawrooz orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points. The former international Mohammed Kawaid (-89) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Nooraldeen Mohamed answered with 7 points and 11 rebounds and Ali Alnajjar added 11 points in the effort for Hidd. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Al-Manama. Defending champion (3-0) moved-up to fourth place. Hidd lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with four games lost. Al-Manama's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Manama Al-Ittihad.
