Regular Season Round 4: Estudio - Alcobendas 73-101

But Estudio was not able to use a home court advantage and was outplayed by the opponent from Alcobendas 101-73 on Wednesday night. The game was mostly controlled by Alcobendas. Estudio was better in second period 27-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Alcobendas forced 20 Estudio turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Miguel Young (200-90) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 rebounds and center Pablo Rodrigo (204-86) who added 12 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Rodrigo Alvarez (-84) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Juan Llorente (180-93) scored 13 points and 6 assists. Five Alcobendas and four Estudio players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Alcobendas (2-2) moved-up to eighth place in Group B. Newly promoted Estudio dropped to the thirteenth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
