Regular Season Round 4: Carbajosa - Naron 94-69

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Carbajosa as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group A-B. Carbajosa smashed 6th ranked Naron at home 94-69. It was a key game for the top position in Group A-B. The game was mostly controlled by Carbajosa. Naron managed to win third quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Carbajosa dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Naron's 46. Carbajosa forced 20 Naron turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Damon Jones (186-94, college: Mercyhurst) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 4 assists and Senegalese power forward Mamadou Lamine-Dieye (203-93) who added 14 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Five Carbajosa players scored in double figures. At the losing side American Shanon Fowler (-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and Danish center Tobias Reinholt (208-95, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 18 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 3 other teams. Naron at the other side keeps the sixth place with one game lost. They share the position with 5 other teams. Naron will play next round against Coruna II trying to get back on the winning streak. Carbajosa will try to continue on its current victory against thirteenth ranked COB in Ourense.
