Another exciting game for Yesilgiresun Bld (2-0) which played in Istanbul against Besiktas (1-1). Yesilgiresun Bld upset home team edging them after exciting game by three points 94-91. Besiktas was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Kenny Boynton (188-91, college: Florida) scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Rashad James (188-90, college: Kaiser) chipped in 25 points and 4 steals during the contest. Four Yesilgiresun Bld and five Besiktas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Yesilgiresun Bld will play against Sakarya BSB (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Besiktas will play against Tofas (#2) in Bursa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
