Quarter-Finals Round 4: Canarios - Isidro Metapan 80-78

Canarios celebrated the second straight win over Isidro Metapan and sent the series into the decisive fifth clash. Isidro Metapan was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 20-12 charge of Canarios, which allowed them to win the game. Canarios had a 24-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Isidro Metapan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Marc Montavious (206-90, college: Georgetown, KY) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 23 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Eddie Ishman (196, college: Miles) who added 22 points and 16 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Venezuelan forward Elder Gimenez (186-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and Venezuelan guard Edwin Mijares (186-94) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals.
