There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Pardubice (2-3) defeated at home bottom-ranked Olomouc SK (0-5) 87-72 on Friday. Point guard Lukas Brozek (180-98) orchestrated the victory by scoring 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Josef Potocek (196-96) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Pardubice players scored in double figures. Pardubice's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Martin Vanak (198-87) answered with 27 points and swingman David Jilek (189-95) added 13 points in the effort for Olomouc SK. Pardubice moved-up to sixth place in East, which they share with Olomouc Bbal and BCM Orli. Olomouc SK lost their fourth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Pardubice will face higher ranked Ostrava (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Olomouc SK will play against B&W Opava B (#9) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
