Regular Season Round 4: Granada - Moron 63-60

Date: October 21, 2017
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Moron (3-1) on the court of fifth ranked CB Granada. Visitors were edged by CB Granada 63-60. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Moron. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The winners were led by naturalized Argentinian forward Alejandro Bortolussi (202-89) who scored that evening 15 points and 5 rebounds and forward Eloy Almazan (199-84) supported him with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Even 21 points and 5 rebounds by Guinean forward Cheick-Sekou Conde (203-92) did not help to save the game for Moron. American guard Taylor Cameron (196-91, college: Winona St.) added 14 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. CB Granada keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Moron. CB Granada will play against Plasencia (#4) on the road in the next round. Moron will play against the league's leader HLA Alicante and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
