Regular Season Round 7: Zabiny Brno - Karlovy Vary 67-43

Rather expected game when 9th ranked Karlovy Vary (2-5) was rolled over on the road by sixth ranked Zabiny Brno (4-3) 67-43 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Croatian guard Tea Buzov (176-90) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. International forward Pavla Svrdlikova (185-90) helped adding 10 points and 8 rebounds. Coach Viktor Prusa's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side forward Dana Kuslitova (182-90) responded with 20 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Karolina Maleckova (159-97) scored 5 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Zabiny Brno moved-up to fifth place, which they share with BLK Praha. Loser Karlovy Vary dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with Slovanka MB and MK Technic. Zabiny Brno will meet bottom-ranked U19 Chance (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Karlovy Vary will play against BLK Praha (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
