Very significant was Keflavik's (#3) just 3-point road victory against 8th ranked Haukar. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The winners were led by naturalized American guard Reggie Dupree (180-87, college: Faulkner) who scored that evening 29 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Cameron Forte (201-93, college: Portland St.) supported him with 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Even 28 points and 7 rebounds by international guard Kari Jonsson (190-97, college: Drexel) did not help to save the game for Haukar. American forward Paul Jones (198-89, college: W.Washington) added 12 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Four Haukar players scored in double figures.
