Regular Season Round 6: Sokol Prazky - Sokol Pisek 77-83

Sokol Pisek's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Praha, where they defeated Sokol Prazky (2-4) 83-77 on Friday. Sokol Pisek looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Sokol Prazky was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Center Vojtech Novak (203-97) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Tomas Reimer (195-93) replied with 19 points and 6 assists and Matej Kohout (193-94) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Sokol Prazky. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Sokol Pisek (1-5) left bottom position moving up to eighth place in West, which they share with GBA Sparta and Sokol Zizkov. Loser Sokol Prazky dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Sokol Pisek will face GBA Sparta (#8) in Praha in the next round.
