The most shocking disappointment of round 4 was a home defeat of 4th ranked Grindavik (2-2) to sixth ranked Tindastoll (3-1) 88-81. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Antonio Hester (198-90, college: Mobile, AL) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds and international guard Petur Birgisson (185-96) who added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Hester is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Tindastoll players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Rashad Whack (190-91, college: Mt.St.Mary's) responded with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Dagur Jonsson (185-95, college: St.Francis, NY) scored 15 points and 5 assists. Tindastoll have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Grindavik at the other side dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Tindastoll is looking forward to face Haukar (#7) in Hafnarfjordur in the next round where they are favorite.
