The most surprising game was the first loss of Le Mans (6-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by eighteenth ranked Chalon/Saor (1-6) 66-63. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Le Mans. The guests trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 22-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Lance Harris (195-84, college: Kansas St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 rebounds. The former international center Ousmane Camara (205-89) contributed with 4 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American-FYR Macedonian Romeo Travis (198-84, college: Akron) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and American Mykal Riley (196-85, college: Alabama) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Le Mans. Defending champion left bottom position moving up to seventeenth place, which they share with Boulazac. Le Mans at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Chalon/Saor is looking forward to face higher ranked JL Bourg (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Le Mans will play against Paris-Levallois (#16) and is hoping to win this game.
