Regular Season Round 6: IK Eos - LF Future 94-63

The game with biggest result difference took place in Lund. Local IK Eos (3-4) outscored 7th ranked LF Future (2-7) 94-63. The game without a history. IK Eos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to LF Future's 28. IK Eos forced 19 LF Future turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Guard Gustav Sundstrom (197-91) notched 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the effort and Tahe Mahmoud (-0) supported him with 4 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 13 points and 9 rebounds by naturalized Iraqi forward Samir Ali-Hussein (200-92) did not help to save the game for LF Future. Guard Robel Gebremeskel (185-95) added 10 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. IK Eos moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Malbas. LF Future lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. IK Eos' next round opponent will be league's leader Koping Stars on the road and it may be quite challenging game. LF Future will play against Alvik Basket (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
