An interesting game took place in Weissenfels where higher ranked Mitteldeutscher BC (3-4) was upset on its own court by seventeenth ranked BG Goettingen (2-5) 89-84 on Saturday. BG Goettingen moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Ratiopharm and Jena. Newly promoted Mitteldeutscher BC dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. BG Goettingen will face higher ranked s Oliver Baskets (#6) in Wuerzburg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
