Regular Season Round 8: Tromso - Centrum 76-66

Bottom-ranked Centrum is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to seventh ranked Tromso (4-4) 76-66 on Sunday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Tromso. Centrum managed to win third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Tromso forced 19 Centrum turnovers. The winners were led by guard Henrik Lange (192-95) who scored that evening 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Aron Finstad (188-98) supported him with 17 points. Four Tromso players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds by forward Torvald Kambestad (198-96) did not help to save the game for Centrum. Guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) added 11 points for the guests. Tromso moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Fyllingen BBK. Defending champion Centrum still closes the standings with seven games lost. Tromso will meet at home higher ranked Gimle BBK (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Centrum will play against Nidaros Jets (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
