Regular Season Round 6: Igokea - FMP 75-65

There was a minor upset in Aleksandrovac where higher ranked Serbian FMP (3-3) was defeated by tenth ranked Bosnian Igokea (3-3) 75-65 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Igokea. FMP managed to win fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Croatian-Bosnian center Robert Rikic (219-90) who scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian guard Marko Ljubicic (195-87) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Aleksa Radanov (202-98) who recorded 16 points and 5 rebounds and guard Stefan Pot (195-94) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Defending Bosnian champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated FMP. Igokea will meet KK Zadar (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. FMP will play against Cibona (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
