Regular Season Round 4: Rilski 2 - CSKA 76-63

Very important is a road loss of third ranked CSKA (2-2) against sixth ranked Rilski 2 (1-2) on Wednesday night. Visiting CSKA was defeated by Rilski 2 in Samokov 76-63. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Miroslav Vasov (199-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Power forward Nikolay Gelov (204-98) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Ivaylo Tonev (198-99) replied with 13 points and 4 assists and power forward Robert Georgiev (187-98) added 16 points in the effort for CSKA. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rilski 2 left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with Chernomorets. CSKA at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Akademik Sofia. Rilski 2 will play against Vidabasket (#7) in Vidin in the next round. CSKA's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Sofia Athletic Sofia.
