We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when sixth ranked Olomouc Bbal (3-4) smashed at home 5th ranked Novy Jicin (3-4) 82-52 on Friday. It was a great evening for Jiri Dedek (190-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Moldovan forward Evgeni Scripcaru (195-83) helped adding 11 points and 7 rebounds. Four Olomouc Bbal players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Tadeas Janik (201-94) responded with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Jan Leczo (198-96) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olomouc Bbal maintains sixth place in East with 3-4 record, which they share with Novy Jicin and Opava B. Olomouc Bbal will face higher ranked Sokol Slapanice (#4) in Slapnice in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
