Regular Season Round 7: Malbas - Alvik Basket 60-87

Date: November 5, 2017
There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Alvik Basket (2-5) rolled over 6th ranked Malbas (3-6) in Malmo 87-60 on Sunday. Alvik Basket forced 19 Malbas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Quite impressive performance for forward Richard Hartmann (203-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Anton Miller (180-91, college: Claflin) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Kasper Hagberg (185-98) answered with 11 points and 7 rebounds and Antiguan-American point guard Jermelle Fraser (186-87, college: SUNY Maritime) added 11 points and 5 assists in the effort for Malbas. Four Malbas players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Alvik Basket moved-up to eighth place. Loser Malbas keep the sixth position with six games lost. Alvik Basket will have a break next round.
