Quarter-Finals Round 3: Pemba Warriors - JKL Dolphins 79-64

Pemba Warriors topped JKL Dolphins to advance into NBL semifinal stage. The game was mostly controlled by Pemba Warriors. JKL Dolphins managed to win fourth quarter 26-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pemba Warriors forced 24 JKL Dolphins turnovers. The best player for the winners was forward Michael Buzangu (-82) who scored 30 points. Center Philip Amenyi (-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Makala Libe (-95) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and forward Daniel Ogara (-92) added 9 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
