Regular Season Round 9: Siarka - Nysa Klodzko 75-70

There was no surprise in Tarnobrzeg where 15th ranked Nysa Klodzko (1-7) was defeated by ninth ranked Siarka (5-4) 75-70 on Wednesday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Nysa Klodzko was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was point guard Jakub Stanios (180-94) who scored 16 points and 4 assists. Forward Pawel Nowicki (195-92) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Marc-Oscar Sanny (186-96) who recorded 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and center Marcel Kliniewski (212-96, college: Seattle) added 7 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Siarka moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Pruszkow. Loser Nysa Klodzko keeps the fifteenth position with seven games lost. Siarka will face KK Warszawa (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nysa Klodzko will play against Pogon Prudnik and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
