A very close game took place in Tirana between Albanian SK Tirana and Bulgarian Levski 2014. Fifth ranked SK Tirana (3-2) got a very close home victory over one of their biggest challengers Levski 2014 (2-3). SK Tirana managed to escape with a 3-point win 79-76 in the fight for the fourth place. Worth to mention a great performance of Kosovan-Albanian Gerti Shima (204-86) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Jalil Abdul-Bassit (193, college: Oregon) who added 22 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side Kris Minkov (199-94) responded with 26 points and Serbian center Nikola Maravic (212-89, agency: BeoBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Five Levski 2014 players scored in double figures. SK Tirana have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending Albanian champion moved-up to fourth place. Loser Levski 2014 dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. SK Tirana will again meet at home Levski 2014 (#5) in the next round. Levski 2014 will have a break next round.
