Regular Season Round 3: TLU/Kalev - TTU 80-72

TTU (2-1) recorded a loss in Tallinn on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by TLU/Kalev (2-1) 80-72. TLU/Kalev outrebounded TTU 40-23 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Senegalese center Bamba Fall (217-86, college: SMU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Kristo Saage (186-85) helped adding 19 points and 6 assists. TLU/Kalev's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American forward Levi Giese (206-90, college: Lafayette, agency: Blacktop Management) with 21 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Norman Kabin (188-97, agency: BeoBasket) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. TLU/Kalev will meet Tartu Ulikool (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TTU will play against P.Zvaigzdes (#8) in Pasvalys and hope to secure a win.
